Sharing is tricky because you cannot see who you are searching with. You cannot attach files into notes and images in docs cannot be searched. If I'm searching my recipe database I really don't want notes about fowl coming up when I search for chicken. I do like how tags can be contextual with a particular database instead of global, like Evernote. Lack of searching inside files is a big downer for me and offline isn't good. It has really killed trello as far as I'm concerned with it's use of database and kanban views. Notion is very good but still feels incomplete to me. The Clipper is also really good, though you can clip them copy to another platform if you really want. For positives, it's pretty simple to write notes, it can store files with notes easily, offline works well enough, tags work well if you want that. The new interface is just terrible and is it stays like that I'm going to drop Evernote. The mobile app is limited, such as missing features in the editor including tables. I've had notes that I regularly use coming up way down in searches and being difficult to find.
#WHAT IS EVERNOTE CONNECTION WITH GOOGLE PDF#
The pdf searching is great, but I'm actually finding that the normal search is much less helpful. I'm finding that Evernotes tagging just doesn't fit with my head and it also doesn't work when trying to share with others because they don't think that easy either. I'm actually coming round to thinking that just Google Drive (not just docs) provides enough to be used without the others. They all have different uses and I use each at the moment, plus office 365.
